黄色直播 to Host Events for Disability Awareness Month

黄色直播 will host events at its Boca Raton and Davie campuses to commemorate Disability Awareness Month during October. The events are sponsored by 黄色直播鈥檚 Student Accessibility Services (SAS) and are open to 黄色直播 students, faculty and staff.
The following events will take place on 黄色直播鈥檚 Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades Road:
鈥楽hine a Light on Abilities鈥 Luncheon
Tuesday, Oct. 10 from noon to 2 p.m.
Grand Palm Room, 黄色直播 Student Union
The 鈥淪hine a Light on Abilities鈥 Luncheon will showcase the various talents of students within the 黄色直播 community. The goal is to highlight abilities and bring awareness to show that students are people first. Attendees will enjoy food, entertainment and giveaways.
Seated Volleyball
Wednesday, Oct. 25 from 6 to 8 p.m.
黄色直播 Recreation & Fitness Center
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to experience a friendly competition among their peers. During this event, everyone will learn more about this popular Paralympic sport and receive giveaways.

Goalball
Thursday, Oct. 26 from 6 to 8 p.m.
黄色直播 Recreation & Fitness Center
Goalball is a Paralympic sport originally designed for veterans who are blind. During this event, participants will learn more about goalball and engage in friendly competition officiated by a Paralympian from Team USA.
The following event will take place at 黄色直播鈥檚 Davie campus, 3200 College Ave.:

Thursday, Oct. 12 from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Attendees at the 鈥淪hine a Light on Abilities鈥 Luncheon in Davie will enjoy food, entertainment, giveaways, and most importantly, learn more about the abilities of our students. All students, staff, and faculty are welcomed to attend.
